Spider Web Brownie Recipe
The spider web brownie recipe is easy to make and will make a great centerpiece for the goodies table.
Ingredients
1 pkg. chocolate brownie mix
2 of your favorite candy bars, chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
1 pkg. (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Hardware
Large bowl
Small bowl
9 or 10-inch round baking pan
Mixer
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large bowl, prepare brownie mix according to box directions; stir in chopped candy bars. Spoon into prepared pan; set aside.
Step 3: In a small bowl, with an electric mixer, whip cream cheese until fluffy.
Step 4: Beat in sugar, and milk until smooth.
Step 5: Pipe cream cheese in concentric circles over brownie batter.
Step 6: With a tooth pick or tip of knife, pull through cream cheese from center to last circle to form spider web effect.
Step 7: Bake for 40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out almost clean when inserted in center. Cool completely, then cut into wedges.
Makes about 12-15 wedges.
