Sour Cream Oatmeal Cookie Recipe
The sour cream oatmeal cookie recipe is easy to make and has a unique fluffiness and taste!
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Lightly grease cookie sheets; set aside.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Step 4: In a small bowl, coat raisins with 1/4 cup of dry mixture; set aside.
Step 5: In a large bowl, with an electric mixer set on medium-high cream together butter and sugars.
Step 6: Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
Step 7: Stir dry mixture into butter mixture until just combined.
Step 8: Stir in raisin mixture and oats.
Step 9: Drop by tablespoons 2 inches part on prepared cookie sheets.
Step 10: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light brown. Let cookies set for 30 seconds before transferring to cooling surface.
Makes about 50 cookies.
