Pumpkin Blondie Brownie Recipe
The pumpkin blondie brownie recipe is a festive alternative to traditional pie. Watch out pumpkin lovers, this one is addictive!
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cups) salted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup pumpkin pie filling
Frosting:
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons slated butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons maple syrup

15x10x1-inch baking pan

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Lightly grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan; set aside.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
Step 4: In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup butter, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer set at medium speed until creamy.
Step 5: Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
Step 6: Add pumpkin, mix well.
Step 7: Reduce speed to low and gradually add flour. Beat until well mixed.
Step 8: Spread batter into prepared baking pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
Frosting:
Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, and powdered sugar. With an electric mixer beat well.
Step 2: Add maple syrup, continue to beat until smooth.
Step 3: Spread over top of cooled brownies. Cut in squares.
Makes 60 brownies.
