Peanut Butter Cup Jar Mix Cookie Recipe



Who doesn't like peanut butter cups? This peanut butter cup jar mix cookie recipe tastes great and is easy to make.

Ingredients
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
8 peanut butter cups, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Hardware
1-quart mason jar
Funnel (optional)
Paper for tag

Step 1: Mix together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
Step 2: In a 1 quart Mason jar, layer the ingredients in order listed starting with flour mixture. Pack down firmly after each addition. Chopped peanut butter cups are last.
Step 3: Attach tag with following instructions:

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Line cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
Step 3: In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup softened butter until light and fluffy.
Step 3: Mix in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Step 4: Remove peanut butter cups from jar; set aside.
Step 5: Add remaining contents of jar, and stir until well combined. Use your hands if needed.
Step 6: Mix in chopped peanut butter cups.
Step 7: Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet.
Step 8: Bake 12 -14 minutes, or until light brown around edges.
Step 9: Remove from cookie sheet to cool on wire racks.

Makes 20 cookies.
