Chocolate Crunch Spider Web Recipe
The chocolate crunch spider web recipe is easy and rich in flavor, but the biggest plus of all is that there is no-baking involved!
Ingredients
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
3 cups toasted rice cereal
4 chopped candy bars
1 tube white decorator icing or gel
Hardware
Microwave safe bowl
Large bowl
Cookie sheet
Step 1: Chop 4 candy bars into 1/4-inch size pieces; set aside.
Step 2: In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter and heat on high for 1-2 minutes. Microwave at additional 10-15 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Step 3: Add powdered sugar and stir vigorously until smooth.
Step 4: In a large bowl combine rice cereal, chopped candy bars, and 1 cup of the chocolate mixture. Stir until well combined.
Step 5: Place mixture on an ungreased cookie sheet, with a spatula form into a 10-inch circle with a slightly raised border.
Step 6: Pour remaining chocolate mixture into center of circle, and spread evenly to border.
Step 7: Pipe concentric circles with decorator icing to form a spider web.
Step 8: Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm, then cut into wedges.
Makes about 15-18 pieces.
