Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Raspberry Bars Recipe
The chocolate chocolate chunk raspberry bars recipe is a nice and thick chocolate bar loaded with chocolate chunks, and topped with raspberries and nuts! yummy for the tummy!
Ingredients
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons water
1 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup seedless raspberry preserves
1 /2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Hardware

Medium bowl
Medium saucepan
8-inch square baking pan
Step 1: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Lightly grease an 8-inch baking pan; set aside.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
Step 4: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
Step 5: Remove form heat; immediately add 1 cup of chocolate chunks, stirring until melted.
Step 6: Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
Step 7: Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture, beating until blended.
Step 8: Stir in remaining 3/4 cup chocolate chunks.
Step 9: Place in freezer for 10 minutes.
Step 10: Stir preserves to soften; spread over top of chilled batter.
Step 11: Sprinkle chopped walnuts over top.
Step 12: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until bars begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
