Blonde Toffee Brownie Recipe
This blonde toffee brownie recipe is a departure from the typical chocolate brownie. Made with brown sugar, butter, white chocolate chips, and toffee bits it tastes more like a kicked-up drop cookie.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup toffee bits
6 ounces (about 3/4 cup) white chocolate chips

13x9-inch baking pan

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Lightly Grease 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
Step 3: In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
step 4: In large bowl, with electric mixer cream together butter and sugars.
Step 5: Add eggs and vanilla extract, then beat until fluffy.
Step 6: Blend in flour mixture.
Step 7: Stir in white chocolate chips and toffee bits.
Step 8: Spread batter into prepared baking pan.
Step 9: Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
Makes 24 brownies.
